This unique brooch has been jappaned which is a technique of coating the brooch in a black finish. It has emerald cut rhinestone encircling the brooch with a purple chaton bow. Great vintage condition with little signs of normal vintage wear. Stamped with a P58 on the reverse. It was a bad strike on the back of the bow as the numbers for the patent were cut off. Brooch measures 1 and 3
