This coin was minted during the reign of Emperor Tiberius, Augustus' successor, to honor Augustus. The coin's inscription reads "DIVUS AUGUSTUS PATER" which translates to "Divine Augustus, Father (of Rome)." The reverse inscription shows an altar, and reads "PROVIDENT" "S C"
