Shouldered Vase Granite Glaze Desk * spring waterEntirely Handmade; thrown on a potters wheel with handbill alterations for a unique shape. Suitable for a single branch or small floral arrangement. The vase is finished in granite glaze with iron brushstroke made almost entirely from local granite, minimally milled to preserve its rugged quality. A local iron material called ilmenite was used to make the brushstrokes across the surface. Approximately 7" tall
