Eiledon - Oil on boxed canvas painting Scottish art 6x6 inchesEiledon Oil on boxed canvas painting. I titled this painting Eiledon, because I love the meaning of this word. It is of Celtic origin, meaning the freedom and peace we all deserve to have in life. Inspired after a trip to the Scottish Highlands. I wanted, with this painting, to evoke a sense of wonder and beauty of the landscape. The vivid colours and subtle leading lines in the painting draw the viewer's eyes towards the distant mountains.
