British easy listening, with its fuzzy guitar riffs, wah wahs, horns, funky rhythms, and Moog synths, was more modern and fashionable than its American counterpart. Though it may sound dated, there's a certain enchantment in its blend of lounge music, film scores, and quirky attempts at futurism.
