The predecessor B 10 had vertically sewn flap patch pockets, but starting with the B 15, these were replaced with slash pockets cut into the body, allowing access even when wearing a parachute harness. The pocket lining is made of corduroy for added warmth. The front zipper features a placket to enhance cold resistance, offset to the right. The underarm and elbow areas are
