The taste is intense and spicy with clove, cinnamon, and black pepper notes that fade to reveal hints of Christmas cake, toffee, and a slight oakiness. Adding water tamps down the spices while bringing out fruitier notes. The finish is long with a good balance of spices and toffee sweetness. 700mL 52% ABV
