For this image I sorted the pieces by size and then simply started with the tiniest pieces and then worked my way out from there

I was working with a lot of small and medium pieces of frosted beach glass and I was trying something new with several circular templates I'd cut out of a large poster board

hoping to improve on the original

They often don't look like much when I pick them up off the sandy beach
