Weingut Seehof, Chardonnay Steingrube 2023 Chateau de Garnerot cherry blossom

cherry blossom

Drink 2016-2040

medium bodied and easy drinking wine that strikes a lovely balance with its blackberry

From an horrifyingly vertiginous single vineyard - 'am Lumpen'

and a long cherry finish

Weingut Seehof, Chardonnay Steingrube 2023 Chateau de Garnerot cherry blossomAn incredible chardonnay hidden away in a region you would not normally consider looking in. The nose is full and full of warm toast and vanilla bean notes and heaps of Burgundy style vibrancy. The palate is extremely fresh and bright with a great acidity. There is also a delicious density creamy aspect balanced with the minerality of limestone and a lightly salty finish.
