Description

This is a big chewy wine with great ageing potential

pot pourri and cherry cola

There's a nod to the Loire here with the leafiness and red berry crunch but ripe plum and graphite ground it in Bordeaux

wild berry fruit

fresh figs and baby basil

Montedesassi, Il Borghetto 2020 Langhe This is a big chewyThis is the more powerful wine of Il Borghetto's two pure Sangioveses. Sinewy, muscular tannins give the Montedesassi considerable punch and drive. Like all of these wines, the Montedesassi is quite perfumed and savoury in style.
