Forlorn Hope, Queen of the Sierra Estate Red 2021 Gaintza Txakolina The nose is very intenseThis estate red blend is grown at a high altitude vineyard in Calaveras County, with schist and dolomite rich limestone soils. Together, these elements bring out texture and complexity in the blend of Zinfandel, Barbera, Tempranillo, and other ideal red varieties. Bright, fruit forward, and dynamic, this wine is organically grown and matured in neutral oak and stainless steel.
