There are cross stake or double stake swivels that replace the swivel on the end of your trap chain. Drive your stakes in at angles so that the stakes cross and make an X underground. This improves your holding power without needing to use longer stakes. In most cases 18" stakes, cross staked will give all the holding power you need.
