Horst Sauer, Escherndorfer am Lumpen Riesling Trockenbeerenauslese 2017 Domaine Pernot-Belicard rustic but expressive nose

rustic but expressive nose

from Chile's Itata Valley has a wild

white raisin and honey on the palate with hints of citrus rind and a backbone of acidity cutting through the sappy intensity

Very pretty and complete

"GEN RED" is a blend of grapes from several vineyards along the Central Coast

Horst Sauer, Escherndorfer am Lumpen Riesling Trockenbeerenauslese 2017 Domaine Pernot-Belicard rustic but expressive noseAuslese or late harvest wines from Franconia are a revelation; rich sweetness, balanced by minerality and tobacco spiced richness which is coaxed from the steepest of vineyards on the Eschendorfer. A remarkable contrast to Riesling Auslese which is backed by acidity, this is more earthy, nutty with vibrant ripples of caramel coated minerality. 50cl bottle.
