The plants are from the Northern Territory in Australia and prefer hot temperatures

We've found this to be tolerant of a very wide range of conditions and it would make an excellent beginner plant

and is one of the most cold hardy of the edible bananas

We've grown a number of the clones out and confirmed some to be pure species while others had some introgression with sympatric species
