I designed a four-leaf clover several years back and then kept finding more and more interesting green plastic items

It took a lot of stops and starts before I found the right black background to highlight these light-colored pieces of beach glass

After collecting several and smoothing out some of the cracks and wrinkles

the snow fence that lines the lakefront - primarily to keep snow banks from drifting onto Lake Shore Drive - has taken a real beating
