It consists of filigree navette links mixed with flat and thin rectangular links. The overall impression has cleaner and simpler lines than many of the chains from the era and I like the use of the rectangular connecting links versus trace chain. It is lightweight and easy to wear and slightly shorter than some of the other long guards we have in store. It has been modeled wrapped
