but wines with bar-top corks are not meant to be held

96-98+ points The Wine Advocate

with an open-knit feel and a shortage of energy and drive on the finish

Glenelly Grand Vin de Glenelly Chardonnay 2012 Port but wines with bar-top corks87 Points The Wine Advocate, Neal Martin The 2012 Grand Vin Chardonnay was matured in 400 liter barrels with 40% new wood. It has an understated bouquet with touches of wax resin and dried honey. The palate is crisp and fresh on the entry with citric fruit, quite pointed, with a twist of bitter lemon on the finish that would benefit from more length. Fine. Drink now.
