The Boneline Hellblock Riesling 2024 Behemouth Since 2002This medium dry Riesling from Boneline is extraordinary stuff. Vibrant and briskly mineral acidity cuts a fine figure against red apple and citrus sweetness, all with a powerful sweet and sour thing that is a bit German. Boneline are all about their terroir in this case a 'hellishly' hot vineyard of dry river gravels. Waipara Riesling is almost always delicious, but this is quite something else.
