18th Century Oak Side Chair with Painted Decoration Leather Club Armchairs which often took the formA most unusual oak carved and painted side chair dating from the 18th Century. Possibly Dutch, this fabulous antique oak chair is raised on twist turned legs, with traces of the original green paint, terminating in block feet. The square sectioned stretchers form a rectangular undercarriage. The seat is solid, beautifully grained and patinated oak. The chair back has angular finials, which retain the original paint, a dentil cresting rail and
