Winemaking Notes: Grapes were hand-picked from the Eastern section of the vineyard
Domaine Thomson Explorer Pinot Noir 2024 Single Double Barrel nez Sherry and virgin oakThe grapes that go into the Explorer wine primarily come from the top terrace Moon Block (altitude 295m), 100% estate grown and handpicked. Stylistically, there are more youthful vines into this wine as they tend to have a natural fruit driven exuberance. Light, fresh, sappy pinot noir with restrained cherry, fresh herb, floral, spice and anise flavours. A delicate, supple wine in a simple and appealing style.
