Marked 24 3-187 on shaft and constructed in a 2 opposed node pattern

At some point someone attempted to touch up the casting cracks causing the varnish to bleed under the crack

The flies and boxes do show normal fishing wear through most of the flies are unfished

but this is purely cosmetic and doesn't result in a crack on either side

All I know is that the repair was done right and this remains an excellent example otherwise of a wide drum Hardy Perfect
