The tube was owned by fly-fishing advocate and author of "Trout"

A 6 3/4" long grip made of 1/4" corks which tapers up from the reel seat to a large (1 1/4") head

All sections are full length with slight sets in both tips

Two screw latch, black enameled finish with normal wear. Foot is original and unmolested, ebonite handle, no undue spindle play. Dark red agate in perfect order. A 3 3 8" pattern 15A will hold a modern DT6 with 75 yds backing.
