Hardy Tarantino #2 Bamboo Fly Rod 8' 2/1 #5 7'6" 3wt boron/graphite fly rodA rare Hardy "Jon Tarantino #2" model bamboo fly rod, 8', 2 piece, 1 tip, and built for what feels to me like a #5 line. Tarantino, of course, was a world champion fly caster during the 1950's through the 1970's. The rod weighs 4. 3 ounces on my scale. It was originally made as a one tip rod as the bag only has a provision for one. The rod has seen some use and restoration. The wraps have been replaced at the ferrules and the bottom guide on the tip.
