Fran May Photography 1974-1978 Ceramics FRAN MAY PHOTOGRAPHY 1974 –FRAN MAY PHOTOGRAPHY 1974 1978 is a recently published collection of her documentary photographs of life in the North of England and in Brick Lane, London. Fran May studied Fine Art Painting at Sheffield before graduating from the Royal College of Art in Photography. She was tutored by Bill Brandt, awarded the Travel Scholarship and the Vogue Prize. On examining these photographs, Brandt commented: Ah, Fran, I will tell you something Promise me you
