Banda Black Rio – Maria Fumaca / Mr Funky Samba – 7" Vinyl Format:Vinyl Na Boca do SolBrazil 45, number 56: A. Banda Black Rio Maria Fumaca AA. Mr Funky Samba Double A side from the legendary Brazilian disco jazz funk masters Banda Black Rio. Both cuts come from their brilliant Maria Fumaa LP; an essential LP in our opinion, and one that we were delighted to be able to reissue in 2016. Regularly played by the likes of Gilles Peterson and Theo Parrish. Tight, tough drum grooves, funk bass, horns, guitars and keys feature on both tracks.
