Description

Overall painting size 12" x 9" inc frame

One of a series of oil paintings

Ditched aircraft such as this one offer a wonderful habitat for sub aqua wildlife and are very soon taken over by all sorts of beautiful coral and strange looking fish

The aircraft featured of course is that of Bob Stanford Tuck of 257 Sqn

The basic concept of the image was to catch the aircraft in a sunset environment with the sun just catching the tops of the clouds
