Leonard 40H fly rod 8' 2/2 #7 7'10" The most stunningly lovely largeA nice Leonard 40H 7 fly rod, 8', 2 piece, 2 tip, built for a #7 line. Serial #1943. 4 3 8 oz with a medium fast action. Although the grip is discolored, the rest of the rod is in exceptional condition, just a tiny amount of brassing to the ferrules. The varnish is in good condition and typical of the period. Wrapped in 326 red with bands of purple and red at the keeper and male ferrules. Keeper 1 flat right. The serial # is lettered 1 flat left on
