Ellington created over a thousand works and left many great recordings, helping elevate the perception of Jazz to an art form. Signed photo, with a short handwritten sentiment "Tonal Velocity at its coolest", inscribed to famous Jazz vibraphonist Red Norvo (1908 1999). Size is 7. 75 x 9 inches (probably trimmed from a larger size), mounted on hard cardboard, in very good condition.
