After a holiday to Etna he decided to move there and established a vineyard on the northern slopes of Europe's largest volcano. This carricante wine was grown at 720m above sea level, and the cool, crisp character with heaps of minerality will astonish anyone used to the richer, riper whites of the rest of Sicily. Riesling fans
