This bourbon is aged in Texas, where the climate has much higher levels of evaporation and interaction between the wood and the whiskey, giving it added layers of vanilla, cinnamon, allspice and clove. This also means the spirit rounds out its flavors faster than those aged in more humid areas, leading to a smooth finish that is sweet with a hint of mild bitterness at the end.
