There is some age related wear to the patina of the brass handle and two small hairline cracks to the shade

I have never come across this design before which is beautifully made with very heavy crystal glass in a very elegant form

During the 1950s/60s they hired designers to create contemporary well-designed furniture

The vase has the manufacturers raised stamp on the base -  BAY W

There is some age related wear to the black metal which could easily be re-painted if you require

The thick textured glass circular base plate is mounted onto the white frame with three chrome screws which secure it in place. The light bulbs can be accessed by removing this plate. The circular textured glass outer shade is made from one piece of glass and fused together which you can barely notice. This glass ring is also held in place with three matching screws
