Georgian Foiled Rock Crystal Amethyst Silver Crucifix Cross Regency Pendant Flat Back sapphire_cocktail step cut octahedral peridot (orDescription: Fab Georgian cross. We think that this is rock crystal (quartz) with purple foils rather than amethyst; its hard to know for sure as amethyst is just purple quartz but on viewing from the side, the top of the crystals are clear. Amethysts were used to show devotion and would be an obvious choice so the jeweller may have cheated a bit here if he couldn't get his hands on any!
