The finish appears to be a kind of matte oil finish

The stripper has a slight downward bend but still seems solid so I would not mess with it

It would also be a great streamer rod

The rod has a Leonard-style cork check (having worked at Leonard with Bob it was a real treat to watch him pop these checks out by hand on a wood lathe)

There is backing loaded on it but no line. Light gray anodized spool with a dark gray anodized frame. Comes with the original box and Hardy zippered case.
