The reel seat is flatted cork and the superbly crafted nickel silver ring has a small rounded straight knurl

Reel mechanics are in excellent condition, as are the nickel silver rims. No cracks in the hard rubber. The clicker works well. On off click switch works fine and the spool spins freely in the off mode. The reel foot is slightly kinked but fits in reel seats that I tried.
