Domaine Les Goubert Gigondas Cuvée Florence, 2014 Biscuits This wine is Dagueneau's grandDeep ruby. Dark berries, cherry pit, licorice, violet and a hint of cola on the deeply perfumed nose. Weighty and expansive in the mouth, offering ripe black raspberry and cherry compote flavours and a touch of medicinal bitterness. Shows very good depth and power, but theres good energy here as well. Closes smoky, sweet and very long, with chewy tannins building slowly and melding nicely with the rich dark fruit.
