The original, dated to the 13th 14th century, is now in the collection of the Royal Armouries, the British museum of arms and armours in Leeds. The sword has a broad, double edged blade with a fuller running along about two thirds of its length. The cutting edges are not sharpened. The blade features an etched sigil on both sides with the repeated
