Coule de Source 2013 Riesling A sparkling wine made usingFrom Chenin vines (around 45 years old) grown on the schist terroir of Rablay sur Layon, with vinification and ageing in vats. Lambert picks the grapes for Coule de Source first, just as they reach ripeness. Golden grapes and the minerality of the schist terroir give tension and balance to the wine: notes of white fruit (pear), a taut mouthfeel with small bitters typical of Chenin.
