Cornas 1994 "Champelrose" - Domaine Courbis 2011 Vineyards and winemakingTerroir: Very poor granite soil, filtering and draining Vineyard: 2. 5 Ha 100% Syrah with low yield. This 1994 Cuve comes from the estate's original Cornas plot whose vines were planted in 1919! Another larger plot of 4. 3 ha of young vines was planted in the early 2000s and has since been used in the cuve. Vinification: Manual harvest, 100% destemmed.
