So, if you have them both in play, Sephiroth can sacrifice Aerith for his fourth trigger, transforming, and then reap the benefits of all the +1/+1 tokens Aerith had built up from his attacking

This deck could work really well in Amber/Ruby decks that love to pay less for stronger characters

This is to my mind one of the more inspired illustrations in the game

Mox Ruby is third for Wheel of Fortune, Red Elemental Blast (due to blue being that good when you unleash the ancient weapons) and occasionally a deck of little red men and several variations on doing three damage for one or two mana

It works best in conjugation with other draw-two payoffs like The Council of Four and Minn, Wily Illusionist
