This deck really hits its stride in the 3-cost range, as cards like Pepa Madrigal and Clawhauser will continue to pay off with useful abilities as the match goes on and you add more singing characters and actions to the mix

Slash of Light might find value in Standard or even fringe Modern decks due to its cheap cost

Like the other Mox gems, Mox Jet grants one (black) mana per turn and can be used as an interrupt without requiring mana to be spent

While its definitely helpful to have access to the rarer cards in a deck, its also fully possible to play a competitive deck without Legendary cards and just a few Rare and Super Rare
