I do not envy the position the Rules Committeeor the Commander Advisory Group for that matterplace themselves in coordinating these decisions and then remaining relatively public-facing during the aftermath
Beyond that, this card is one of the few Griffin kindred enablers that exist (one of the only others, Zuberi, Golden Feather, hails from Mirage ), making it even more of a rarity across Magic s history
I think the idea is to engage in a war of attrition by recovering with lifelink while repeatedly playing artifacts from the graveyard, but the problem is that modern artifacts remain on the field even if they aren't creatures, and there are no one-shot, mana-efficient cards
Also note that this is an ability, not casting, so traditional counters like Mana Drain and Force of Will won't counter it
This can easily push Vincent, or any of your creatures, into the realm of huge threats
That would mean that as you mixed and matched augment creatures with host creatures, you would generate unique effects
