Playing Against Amethyst/Steel Starter Deck If youre playing with friends or family and you have one of each deck, the Ruby/Sapphire deck has a couple of fun tricks
She has no plus ability, so at first you might think she has no way to hit her ultimate
Any card abilities which happen when a player pays a cost to use them (activated abilities) or automatically when specific conditions are met (triggered abilities) must also pass through the stack and can be responded to the same way (though you would need a card that says target ability to interact with one)
Its madness triggered ability will be placed onto the stack once that spell or ability has completely resolved
Pact of Negation, for example, puts a lose the game trigger on the stack in the next upkeep
