You should typically highly prioritize cards that tempt you in almost all black decks
Assist is a static ability that changes the steps of casting the spell specifically, when you get to the part where you pay costs
I would cast Cunning Wish and grab Mudhole and play it as an instant to slow that engine down
Then, they may take any of the following actions in any order they like: Attach up to one Energy card from their hand to one of their Pokmon Play as many Basic Pokmon from their hand onto their Bench as they like (up to 5 total) Evolve as many of their Pokmon as they like Retreat their Active Pokmon up to one time (pay retreat cost) Play as many Trainer cards in their hand as they like (but only one Supporter card and one Stadium card) Use any Abilities or Pokmon Powers Note: Attacking will end a player's turn regardless of how many other actions they have taken, but a player may choose to end their turn without attacking
The huge dump of commanders sort of dilutes the impact of tier 2 commanders in my opinion, unless theyre putting pressure on the same cards as a tier 1 commander might, in which case they cant hurt and can only help
This is a shame, because Falco Spara is a really playable card
