MTG Final Fantasy Release Date Officially, the Final Fantasy MTG set was released on June 13th, 2025

The Shimmering Skies Illumineer's Trove is following the same model as the last couple of releases, containing a lore counter spinner, set of six miniature dice, and some card dividers to keep inks distinguished, all inside of a reasonably compact storage box

This creates a simple situation with the strong ability cards taking minimal risk while we use vanilla cards to do the dirty work

There's Ultima, which sweeps up the board, and Squall, SeeD Mercenary, who sweeps you off your feet

We also recently got an exclusive look at a handful of cards that make up a single scene set after the end of the TV show (as well as a couple cards from the bonus sheet of the main set)

Though her stats arent the best overall, with 1 Strength, 5 Willpower and 2 Lore, her ablitiies linked to Singing and Lore bonuses that can increase the effectiveness of other characters in play really make this a strong combo card
