At first glance, Lone Rider doesn't appear to be very impressive
The difference here being that, unlike sagas, which progress on each of your upkeep steps, Dungeons are manually triggered and progressed through via "Venture into the Dungeon" effects
It doesn't untap during your untap step, can be untapped for four generic mana, and deals one damage to you if it's tapped during your upkeep
While not splashing into other colors very well, it does fairly well in a white devotion deck, and feels like the most traditionally white mana of all the cards in AFR
I had a busy couple of weeks so am only just getting to digest everything you've suggested
