What redeems this ominous angel for me is the combination of extremely high ceiling, relatively easy enabling condition and external utility
Having the option to destroy one or two weaker creatures, blast a 4-toughness creature, or smack 4 damage to your opponents face and stick a 3/4 with flying and lifelink is game-defining in the small ball style of Draft and Sealed

Additionally, if you have an item deck, you can pay one less ink for any Inventor character in your hand while shes on the table with a host of items
