That style of deck has not been very viable to this point, in part because Ruby (an ink type focused on aggression) and Steel (which is more stout and defensive-minded) haven't really taken in the metagame up to this point due to a lack of lore generation
#12 I feel like the original M EX's would have worked better for pocket, ending your turn on evolution without a tool, giving up all your prizes on one Pokemon seems like a lot #13 When the never ending natural creep of power makes the game not as fun as it used to be #14 this is fine for pacing on paper
Black Market Connections Black decks tend to have access to lifegain and usually have no problem making these connections shine

Because it also has haste, you can then translate its own buffs into an immediate attack
