Each of the surfaces has a different pattern of carved openings. Two sections were left unglazed to showcase the beautiful dark clay. Since this is a double walled form, it can be used as a bud vase, or purely decorative pottery. The glaze looks just like the semiprecious stone called tiger's eye, with icy blue flows.
